Is It Important to Be Our Own Raw Food Guru?

I poste this article up about 2 years ago, and as I have been going through some forum posts, it seems to me more then before that it is becoming more and more important for people to become their Own Raw Food Gurus. So, this train of thought, made me wana post this article again. PLease let me know what you guys think of it?

Be Our Own Raw Food Guru

When we have come to this world as human beings, we must exercise our own judgments in whatever we do in this world. We have chosen this place and this time by ourselves, and we are totally responsible ourselves for anything we are doing as a mature person. When we are sick, it is caused by our ignorance of how to behave according to the laws of nature – eating the wrong food, having the wrong conduct, behaving in a wrong manner. When we are in misery, it is caused by our wrong judgments, which may come from a way of life out of harmony with the environment. Sickness, accident, miseries and any other difficulties can be turned into health, well being and happiness through changing our own thoughts and conducts. No one else can change them in our behalf we must initiate changes ourselves. We may receive advice, suggestions and guidance, but it is we who should act and be our own master of our own destiny.

To your balanced judgments,

Omid

Hi Omid!
Just joined today and i must admit i am impressed with your stuff. nowadays, very few have the guts to think and feel independently and it seems you are doing it successfully. I do share some of your suggestions about the miseries and how we can strive to change them, but also give it a bit of what they call 'chance' or 'luck' to it.
it feels great to follow a topic as spiritually stimulating as yours and would love to seriously follow your articles.
Thanks.

hi !
just joined when I came across gliving in search for raw food recipes ... and yours rock ! thanks so much for sharing!
as a vegan who just started eating raw a few weeks ago (just to try it out initially ... but I'm hooked now!), I already came across so many different viewpoints about nutrition, combining food groups, pros and cons etc...
I guess the very concept of 'health' food can be so intimidating to some that they are willing to take someone else's word for it... and that's what's kinda unhealthy to me.
and it's a shame because I feel that's what makes raw foodists perceived as weirdos on a crazy diet by your average omnivore, when it's actually such a natural way of eating+living !
so ... be your own voice, definitely. and listen to your body !

Old school for sure, and love it. Even though it is titled ‘creamy’ it is still light, yet meaty textured with lovely aromas and flavors. Read the rest of this entry »

So I'm starting to understand why there are never any salads in Indian restaurants. There are no salads in India! The food is ridiculously amazing but it's all cooked. It's incredibly easy to be vegetarian. Pretty easy to be vegan. Almost impossible…
